Diablo Immortal is a free-to-play spin-off of the popular hack & slash series in the MMOARPG
That genre (a huge world for hundreds of players combined with an action RPG), which was developed for mobile devices with iOS and Android operating systems. The Chinese company NetEase is responsible for the development of this production.
The plot of Diablo Immortal presents events placed between the end of the Diablo II add-on, Lord of Destruction, and the continuation of the story presented in Diablo 3. The story presents the fate of the protagonist, who must face the ancient evil awakened by the destruction of the World Stone.
Diablo Immortal's gameplay looks in line with the brand's initial premise: the title is, at its core, a hack & slash with the camera placed in an isometric view. At the beginning, the player creates his hero based on one of the six available classes: barbarian, crusader, demon hunter, monk, necromancer or sorcerer. Then we are thrown into a world filled with dangers, divided into eight unique zones, in order to complete assigned tasks and kill hordes of enemies placed every now and then in our way. Thanks to this, we gain experience points, converted into new skills that expand the protagonist's attacks and defensive elements.
Diablo: Immortal allows you to play alone, but the production lives in symbiosis with multiplayer elements – such as the creation of up to eight-player teams and fighting together against the deadly threat from the Lord of Darkness. In the game, in addition to single-player mechanics such as the simplest quests, there are also raids (team-based overcoming of complex and multi-stage quests) and PvP (player vs. player) combat.
